On Wednesday, 24 June, Senator Christopher “Bong” Go, personally extended assistance to almost a thousand barangay functionaries from Banaybanay, Davao Oriental.
Go and his team coordinated with Mayor Lemuel Ian Larcia and Vice Mayor Liezel S. Teves to facilitate an aid distribution. A total of 700 beneficiaries received relief assistance from Go and his team.
Go took the opportunity to reiterate his support for barangay officials and uniformed personnel, noting policy efforts undertaken during the Duterte administration.
He highlighted his support for Republic Act No. 11462, which postponed the Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) elections, giving officials more time to focus on their initiatives for the benefit of their constituents.

“Patuloy kaming magseserbisyo sa inyo dahil bisyo ko ang magserbisyo. Naniniwala ako na ang serbisyo sa tao ay serbisyo sa Panginoon,” Go concluded.
Earlier that day, Go also aided members of Tricycle Operators and Drivers Associations (TODA) in San Isidro and assisted vendors in Lupon. On the same day, he also attended the inauguration of Maco, Davao de Oro Super Health Center.
