Fans of cars and cinema will have a reason to celebrate this December as actor and automotive enthusiast Sung Kang is scheduled to make a special visit in Manila.
Organizers of the B2B Car Show announced that Kang, best known for portraying Han Lue in The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift, will visit the Philippines on 5 and 6 December. The event is expected to bring together thousands of car enthusiasts for a weekend dedicated to custom builds, automotive culture, and fan experiences.
Organizers said the actor's visit is tied to promotional activities for his upcoming film Drifter, which centers on Tree, a quiet man from Barstow, California, whose life changes dramatically when he gets a chance to break into the world of professional motorsports.
The movie, written and directed by Sung Kang, is slated to premiere later in 2026.
