A man from Sacramento, United States gave a bizarre twist to hitchhiking after he was captured by dashcams climbing onto speeding cars on the road.
Footage aired by news outlets shows the unidentified man clinging to different cars speeding through the streets of Sacramento, the New York Post (NYP) reported.
In one video, his pants are shown slipping, exposing his buttocks, as he clings to an SUV.
Police later arrested the man, booking him on unspecified charges, according to NYP.
Meanwhile, a postman delivering mail in the Chicago area thanked a family for helping him buy a new car so he would no longer have to commute.
“I love you guys so much. It’s because of you so many doors have been open for me that I’ve only dreamed of,” Lavonte Harvey told the family in the 25 February episode of TV show Good Morning America.
Harvey told ABC News Chicago station WLS that he loves singing to spread hope and joy.
Whitney Cumbo started an online fundraising drive via GoFundMe for Harvey after he sang to her mother at their doorstep every time he delivered mail to the family.
The doorcam recorded Harvey singing a version of “Mississippi” by American Idol season 23 winner Jamal Roberts, and the video went viral after Cumbo posted it on Instagram on 7 February.
The video was viewed 1.5 million times after two weeks, with 12,000 netizens commenting on it.
On 13 February, Harvey posted a photo on Instagram showing him beside his red BMW car.
