Authorities seized P133 million worth of counterfeit footwear during a raid in Apalit on 26 February.
The operation was conducted by the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group Pampanga Provincial Field Unit in coordination with the Apalit Municipal Police Station.
Operatives confiscated P133,290,000 worth of counterfeit Crocs footwear during the implementation of Oplan Megashopper, serving Search Warrant No. 26-37066 issued by Judge Phillip Charles G. Santos of Manila Regional Trial Court Branch 46.
The search was carried out at a warehouse inside the Golden Haojia Industrial Compound reportedly operated by an individual known only as alias “GM.” Authorities recovered large volumes of fake Crocs products, along with equipment and assorted documents.
Suspected counterfeit footwear resembling Adidas brand items was also discovered and will undergo verification.
