The Bureau of Customs (BOC) has raised over P102 million through the auction of luxury vehicles linked to the Discaya case, with nine out of the thirteen seized cars from the case now sold.

“Restitution and transparency are at the core of our mission with these vehicles and in every enforcement action we undertake,” said BI Commissioner Ariel Nepomuceno.

“The BOC returns these funds to the Bureau of the Treasury, where they can be used to support and fund programs of the national government for our countrymen," Nepomuceno added.

Out of the twelve vehicles offered in the auction on 25 February, seven were Discaya-linked, and three of these vehicles were sold.

The 2024 Lincoln Navigator went to Cantinetta Espresso Concepts for P6.950 million, the 2022 Cadillac Escalade ESV was won by Igorot Stone Kingdom Inc. for P6.623 million, and the Bentley Bentayga went to TDY Consumer Goods Trading for P12.178 million. These sales alone generated P25.751 million, and including registration fees, the total proceeds reached P25.771 million.

These auction results bring the total revenue from Discaya-linked vehicles to over P102.468 million, highlighting the BOC’s commitment to lawful restitution and turning seized assets into funds that benefit the public.
