TUBA, Benguet — Three men were seriously injured Tuesday morning when the Manila-bound delivery truck they were riding lost control and flipped upside down along a highway in Barangay Taloy Sur, Tuba town.
Initial police reports indicate that the driver lost control of the vehicle while navigating a section of the road, causing the truck to slam into roadside concrete barriers before rolling over.
The driver and his two helpers sustained severe injuries in the impact. Responders from the Bureau of Fire Protection extracted the victims from the wreckage and rushed them to a nearby hospital for emergency treatment.
Local authorities are investigating the exact cause of the crash. Traffic management officials advised passing motorists to exercise caution, as vehicular movement in the immediate area remained slow-moving following the incident.
