The Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development promoted its housing programs during the Lab for All event on 24 February at the Subic Bay Exhibition and Convention Center.
First Lady Liza Araneta-Marcos visited the DHSUD booth, accompanied by Secretary Jose Ramon Aliling, Senior Undersecretary Eduardo Robles Jr. and other department officials.
The department provided information on housing assistance and the Expanded Pambansang Pabahay para sa Pilipino Program, also known as 4PH, the government’s flagship shelter initiative.
“The event serves as an effective platform for DHSUD to extend its reach to potential beneficiaries and inform the public of various housing initiatives and how to avail them,” Aliling said.
The agency’s participation in the outreach activity was coordinated by Undersecretary Odilon Pasaraba, DHSUD’s focal person for the Lab for All program.
DHSUD joined other national agencies in the event, which aims to bring government services closer to communities, particularly those with limited access to government offices.
