The Quezon City Police District (QCPD) reported Saturday that it detained 31 wanted persons during its most recent Warrant Day operations.
Police Brig. Gen. Randy Glenn Silvio said that of the 31 arrested, one was classified as a most wanted person, 11 were listed as wanted persons, while the rest were categorized as other wanted individuals.
Alias “Richard,” 37, was arrested by officers of Masambong Police Station 2 at his residence in Barangay Del Monte based on a warrant for acts of lasciviousness issued by Branch 301 of the Regional Trial Court in Quezon City.
Further investigation showed that the suspect is a repeat offender, having been charged with the same offense in 2019.
Later in the day, personnel of Payatas-Bagong Silangan Police Station 13 served warrants of arrest on alias “Alexis,” 37, and alias “Mark Brian,” 36.
Alexis, a resident of Barangay Payatas, was arrested at about 11:30 a.m. for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act, under a warrant issued by Branch 82 of the Regional Trial Court. He was also found to be a repeat offender.
Meanwhile, Mark Brian was served his warrant for robbery while detained at the station’s custodial facility.
Authorities also arrested a 70-year-old man from Barangay Tatalon, identified as “Gerrado” at around 5:30 p.m. He has a pending warrant for sexual assault and acts of lasciviousness issued by Branch 107 of the Regional Trial Court.
Silvio commended the operatives for the successful operation and reiterated the QCPD’s commitment to maintaining peace and order in Quezon City.
