The Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board of Western Visayas issued a show-cause order this Monday for the bus operator of a passenger bus that was involved in a road crash.
The incident occurred along the national highway in Barangay Maribong, Lambunao, Iloilo, and led to 41 of its passengers sustaining injuries last February 14.
In a video shared online, the bus can be seen tipped over on its side, with passengers and onlookers scattered throughout the scene.
The bus was said to be bound for Capiz, a neighboring province of Iloilo, prior to the incident.
The operator was given five days to submit a written response and was asked to appear before the LTFRB-Western Visayas board on February 23.
