Aboitiz InfraCapital, Inc. (AIC), the infrastructure investment arm of the Aboitiz Group, has been named the Philippines’ Most Innovative Infrastructure Investment Company at the International Finance Awards (IFA) 2025, marking its second consecutive recognition after receiving the same distinction in 2024.

The award was conferred by International Finance, a business and finance magazine published in the United Kingdom. The program recognizes financial institutions and companies for performance, leadership, corporate governance, corporate social responsibility, and industry initiatives.

The repeat recognition follows AIC’s 10th year of operations in 2025. The company operates across water, airports, and digital infrastructure, with investments focused on long-term infrastructure development.

In the aviation sector, AIC Airports began operating the Bohol-Panglao International Airport and Laguindingan International Airport in 2025. These facilities complement the Mactan-Cebu International Airport (MCIA), which remains part of the company’s portfolio. MCIA received international distinctions in 2025, including recognition for its Eco-Watt Initiative and its selection as Airport of the Year in Asia at the TDM Travel Trade Excellence Awards.

Under its water segment, AIC subsidiary Apo Agua Infrastructura, Inc. continued operations of the Davao City Bulk Water Supply Project, identified as the country’s largest bulk water supply facility. The project has been operational for two years and supplies treated water to the Davao City Water District. Apo Agua also pursued watershed protection and community initiatives during the year.

In digital infrastructure, Unity Digital Infrastructure, Inc., a joint venture between AIC and Partners Group, expanded its network to nearly 3,000 points of service nationwide in 2025, supporting connectivity and telecommunications infrastructure.

AIC develops, operates, and manages infrastructure investments in airports, water and wastewater, and digital infrastructure.
