CLARK, Pampanga — Nissan Philippines Inc. held its first Nissan Festival on 1 February at Clark International Speedway, drawing more than 1,700 attendees and marking the largest official gathering of Nissan car clubs and fans in the country.

The event brought together over 20 Nissan car clubs from different parts of the Philippines. Activities opened with a Car Club Parade and Heritage Lap, featuring more than 50 parade vehicles and 10 heritage models. 

Cars completed a full lap of the circuit, placing classic and current Nissan models on track in front of spectators gathered along the pit lane and grandstands.

Masao Tsutsumi, president of Nissan Philippines, Inc., attended the festival and addressed car club members and guests. Tsutsumi said the event was organized to bring Nissan owners and fans together in one venue and to recognize the role of car clubs in supporting the brand in the local market.

The pit area served as the main display zone, where enthusiasts viewed a wide range of vehicles. Several generations of the Nissan Z were parked side by side, alongside modified Skyline GT-Rs, including R32 and R34 builds. 

Rare models such as the Nissan Stagea and the Silvia S15 Varietta were also on display, drawing steady crowds throughout the day.

Modified Navaras and Terras showed off-road and touring setups, while multiple versions of the X-Trail were displayed, ranging from stock units to customized builds. Nissan’s electrified offering was represented by the Kicks e-Power, which was open for viewing among the other models.

Nissan also set aside space for a creative installation developed in collaboration with Filipino artist Quiccs, also known as Juanito Maiquez. The display was inspired by the Nissan Z NISMO and featured a life-size TEQ63 figure along with limited diecast pieces. Guests stopped at the exhibit for photos and spent time examining the artwork throughout the event.

Track activity resumed in the afternoon with high-performance driving demonstrations led by Ashley Sison. The sessions focused on speed, braking, and car control, with vehicles completing multiple runs around the circuit. 

Nissan brand ambassador Matteo Guidicelli joined the driving exhibitions, along with racers Marlon Stockinger and Inigo Anton.

Nissan Philippines said the turnout confirmed strong interest from the local Nissan community. The company also stated that 2026 will include several new model launches for the Philippine market.
