The Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines has activated preparedness measures at airports nationwide as Super Typhoon Inday approaches the country.
As part of its weather contingency procedures, CAAP directed airports under its management to secure communication equipment, navigational facilities, control towers, and other critical infrastructure against strong winds and heavy rainfall.
Airport operations remain normal, but CAAP said it is closely monitoring the weather and stands ready to implement additional measures if conditions worsen.
The agency also advised passengers to regularly check flight advisories and weather updates as precautionary measures remain in place amid the approaching typhoon.
