HANOI, Vietnam — VinFast said it delivered 406,453 electric scooters in Vietnam in 2025 and held the leading share of the country’s e-scooter market.
VinFast attributed the result to a wide product lineup that covers multiple price points and use cases, alongside expanded charging and battery-swapping options.
More than 250,000 units came from the Evo range, which became the company’s best-selling e-scooter series during the year.
Other models, including Feliz, Klara, Vento, Vero X and Theon, also contributed to overall deliveries.
License-exempt models such as Motio, Zgoo and Flazz added volume among younger riders and short-distance users.
VinFast said its nationwide dealer footprint played a key role in widening access, with more than 600 authorized distributors operating across Vietnam.
The company also pointed to continued investment in service workshops and public charging locations, which it said helped support day-to-day ownership and boosted buyer confidence.
Hoang Ha, chief executive officer of VinFast’s e-scooter business in Vietnam, said the 2025 performance showed growing acceptance of electric transport and expressed confidence that demand would continue into 2026.
At the start of 2026, the company introduced four new e-scooter models, including battery-swapping variants and a pedal-assist model aimed at students.
VinFast said it has installed about 4,500 battery-swapping stations so far, with plans to expand to 45,000 battery cabinets by the end of the first quarter of 2026.
