SMX Convention Center Aura is located on the 3rd and 4th Levels of SM Aura Premier, Taguig City. Alice Saves Wonderland runs from January 15 – March 20, 2026.
SMX Convention Center Aura is serving as the main venue and events partner for Alice Saves Wonderland, an immersive, technology-driven storytelling experience that recently opened in Manila.
International creative technology firms SparksLab Technology and FrameMotion Studio brought Alice Saves Wonderland to the Philippines, transforming the convention center’s spaces into an interactive environment using projection mapping, motion sensors, spatial audio, artificial intelligence, and 3D digital installations.
SMX Convention Center Aura’s adaptable venue design, technical infrastructure, and on-site team enabled the integration of advanced technologies needed for the experience, organizers said.
“This partnership reflects where the future of events is headed,” said Walid Wafik, senior vice president for operations of SM Hotels and Conventions Corp.. “When content, technology, and venue design align, experiences move beyond being hosted—they are truly lived.”
Fresh from international runs in Malaysia and Taiwan, Alice Saves Wonderland marks its third global stop in Manila, chosen for the city’s growing reputation as a hub for next-generation creative experiences in Asia.
For the Manila staging, SparksLab and FrameMotion selected SMX Convention Center Aura as their preferred venue to support the technical and creative requirements of the exhibition.
“Each global stop adds a new layer to the story,” the SparksLab team said. “For Manila, we wanted a venue that could support the technical depth of the experience while allowing audiences to feel fully immersed from the moment they step inside. SMX Convention Center Aura gave us the freedom and flexibility to bring Wonderland to life.”
SMX Convention Center said the collaboration reflects its broader role in supporting immersive exhibitions and experiential events as it continues its nationwide expansion, with upcoming venues planned in Cebu, Cabanatuan, Sta. Rosa in Laguna, Sto. Tomas in Batangas, and Pasay.
Alice Saves Wonderland runs from 15 January 2026 to 20 March 2026 at SMX Convention Center Aura, occupying Meeting Rooms 2 to 8 on the third and fourth levels of SM Aura Premier in Taguig City.
