Twenty-seven officers from the Technical and Administrative Services (TAS) of the Armed Forces of the Philippines were formally donned to the rank of colonel during a ceremony held Thursday at Camp Aguinaldo.
The donning of ranks was presided over by AFP Deputy Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Rommel P. Roldan, who commended the newly promoted officers for their professionalism, dedication, and vital contributions to the organization’s mission.
Roldan said the ceremony underscored the AFP’s commitment to recognizing merit and strengthening its leadership corps as it continues to fulfill its mandate of safeguarding national sovereignty and security.
He added that the promotion of TAS officers reflects the AFP’s emphasis on technical competence and administrative excellence as indispensable pillars of a strong, modern, and responsive defense institution.
