Coca-Cola Europacific Aboitiz Philippines (CCEAP) kicked off the year by naming Ramon Christian Pesigan as its new President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO).
CCEAP, the bottling partner and official distributor of Coca-Cola products in the Philippines, said in a media statement on Wednesday that the appointment signals leadership continuity and supports the company’s commercial strategy.
Pesigan succeeds Gareth McGeown, who served as President and CEO for the past seven years.
“It is an honor to lead Coca-Cola Europacific Aboitiz Philippines at such a transformative and exciting time,” Pesigan said.
“My passion for our purpose has never been greater, and with our 9,000 empowered associates who remain our greatest strength, we are more driven than ever to deliver sustainable growth for our people, customers, and communities,” he added.
Pesigan joined CCEAP in 2013 and has held leadership roles including Commercial Go-to-Market Director, General Trade Director, and most recently Commercial Vice President.
McGeown, on the other hand, will become Vice President and General Manager for Coca-Cola Europacific Partners’ Australia, Pacific, and Southeast Asia business unit.
“Over the past years, I’ve had the privilege of leading CCEAP’s growth and witnessing the commitment of our teams who propelled us to greater success.
Chris’ appointment is a testament to the strong foundation that we’ve built and I’m confident that he will build on the momentum as we continue our mission of refreshing the Philippines together,” McGeown said.
CCEAP is the local bottler and distributor of Coca-Cola products, operating 18 plants and nearly 70 distribution centers nationwide, with about 9,000 employees.
The company is jointly owned by Coca-Cola Europacific Partners and Aboitiz Equity Ventures following their February 2024 acquisition.
