Police seize P81.6M shabu, arrest woman in Pasay

Police arrested a 26-year-old woman tagged as a newly identified high-value individual and seized suspected shabu worth P81.6 million during an operation in Pasay City late Tuesday night. 

The arrest happened around 11:00 p.m. on 13 January along Seaside Boulevard in Barangay 76. Operatives from Sub-Station 10 acted on information from  a confidential informant regarding an alleged drug delivery.

Authorities said the suspect matched the identification provided by the confidential informant. 

Two green eco-bags were found in the possession of the suspect identified as alias “Farhanie” which contains six heat-sealed vacuum packs with suspected shabu weighing around two kilograms each. 

The suspect and the seized items were brought to Sub-Station 10 for documentation and medical examination at the Pasay City General Hospital.

The seized drugs will be submitted for laboratory examination while inquest proceedings are set before the Pasay City Prosecutor’s Office.
