A provincial-level most wanted person was arrested during a police operation in Barangay San Isidro, Rodriguez, Rizal, on Sunday afternoon, 4 January.
Police identified the suspect only by the alias “Junior,” 19, a single construction worker and resident of the barangay. He was ranked ninth on the list of the provincial-level most wanted persons.
The arrest was carried out by virtue of a warrant issued by the San Mateo Regional Trial Court Branch 175 for frustrated murder, with a recommended bail of P200,000.
After his arrest, the suspect was informed of his constitutional rights and is currently detained at the Rodriguez Municipal Police Station custodial facility for documentation and proper disposition.
“This successful operation is a testament to the continuous efforts of the Rizal Police Provincial Office in enforcing the law and maintaining peace and order in the province of Rizal,” said P/Col. Feloteo Gonzalgo, provincial director of the Rizal Police Provincial Office.
