A former member of the Alyansa ng mga Magbubukid sa Gitnang Luzon — Kilusang Magbubukid ng Pilipinas (AMGL-KMP) voluntarily surrendered to authorities in Barangay San Pablo, Sta. Ana, Pampanga on Saturday.
According to Pampanga Police Provincial Office (PPO) chief Police Col. Eugene M. Marcelo, the surrender was facilitated by the Pampanga 2nd Police Mobile Force Company (PMFC), with support from multiple local police stations and the Provincial Intelligence Unit.
The former member pledged to cut ties with the organization and is now under the custody of the Pampanga 2nd PMFC for proper documentation and interviews. As part of the reintegration program, the surrenderer also received financial assistance and food packs to help ease the transition back into the community.
“Guided by the PNP Focused Agenda and PRO3’s 3Ps, the Pampanga PPO continues to promote proactive policing, build strong community partnerships, and dismantle illegal organizations in the province,” Marcelo said.
