THE birthday celebrator and the host, Roberto ‘Bobby’ Alvarez.
This past year has seen so many things, people and experiences I am so thankful for! One of them is definitely my great friends who treats me the best. Today, it’s a special mention to my bestie Roberto Bobby Alvarez Jr. because of his generous gift — a thanksgiving birthday party just for me. We had a full calendar all year, so even if I’m a January baby, we only had a chance to do celebrate now. How sweet is my bestie for remembering!Joel del Prado and Mayenne Carmona
He booked the Fable Café + Lounge at the Grand Hyatt Manila Residences for me and 70 wonderful friends. The theme? Dress to Impress, baby! We all came in fabulous ‘fits and perfect for the festive feels of the night. From the delicious dinner to live performances, it was a party to remember. I even got to dance with dancers and duet with my talented friends with their own compositions.
Huge shoutout to one of Fable Café’s owners, Joyce, for rolling out the red carpet for my birthday so we got the full VIP experience. And of course, being a thanksgiving birthday party, I expressed my gratitude: to the Daily Tribune team, friends who have been with me through thick and thin, those who host my parties and even the challenges along the way. I’m so grateful. Cheers to this blessed life!
