Atsuko Okatsuka is back for another Manila laugh fest

Filipino fans of Atsuko Okatsuka can once again catch the award-winning comedian live as she brings her The Big Bowl Tour to Manila on 15 November at the New Frontier Theater.
Presented by Insignia Presents and Bohm Presents, the show marks Okatsuka’s return to the Philippines after her sold-out Manila run in 2024, where she performed three consecutive shows.
This time, the comedian promises a fresh set of brand-new material for Filipino audiences.
Okatsuka’s 2024–2025 FULL GROWN world tour sold more than 200 shows across over 100 cities in more than 20 countries, with Manila becoming one of its standout stops.
She has since released her second stand-up special, FATHER, which premiered on Hulu and internationally on Disney+. Her previous special, The Intruder on HBO, won a Gracie Award for Best Comedy Special, was named The New York Times’ Best Debut Special of 2022, and was included among the Best Specials of 2022 by Vulture and Variety.
Beyond the stage, Okatsuka has become known for her viral moments, including her jeepney ride during her previous Manila visit and the #DropChallenge, which helped bring Beyoncé’s “Partition” back to the charts.
Her connection with Filipino fans has also become part of her signature appeal, with audiences previously showing up to her performances wearing bowl-cut wigs inspired by her iconic hairstyle.
