Warmest wishes for a joyful Christmas and successful New Year to my former high school students of Class 1962 whose pictures with me show the joy we had together 63 years ago when they were under me in a special English class taught under the second language method “with proper intonation, pronunciation, and expression” or by sound and recall. The group was the first beneficiary of learning English under the Ateneo system of teaching through the “second language method.”
The pictures were taken on 25 February 2023 during the CPC 75th Grand Alumni Diamond Jubilee Founding Anniversary when I was honored as a “Jubilarian Awardee, for Excellence in Public Service, as a Columnist of Daily Tribune, MPA, UP, 1972, and for having worked as resident auditor in various government agencies.”
