A drug den was dismantled, and three suspects were arrested by authorities during a buy-bust operation at Barangay Minuyan Proper in the City of San Jose Del Monte, Bulacan, on Tuesday.

According to the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Bulacan Provincial Office, the main target of the operation is identified as alias Samboy, a 35-year-old man.

PDEA Bulacan also apprehended two other suspects known as alias Chor, a 52-year-old man, and alias Cess, a 28-year-old woman.

Operating teams confiscated nine transparent plastic sachets containing approximately six grams of shabu, valued at P40,800, assorted sniffing paraphernalia, and the buy-bust money.

The seized illegal substances will undergo forensic examination at the PDEA RO3 laboratory, while the arrested suspects will be temporarily detained at the PDEA jail facility in the City of San Fernando, Pampanga.

Samboy will be charged with nonbailable offenses under Section 5 (sale of dangerous drugs) and Section 6 (maintenance of a den) of Republic Act 9165. The two other suspects will face appropriate charges under the same law.
