As December traffic builds and calendars fill up, car owners start thinking about more than gifts and reunions. There is also the quiet worry about breakdowns, warning lights, and whether the car will make it through the season without trouble.
Chevrolet Philippines is leaning into that concern with a holiday after-sales offer aimed at keeping older vehicles road-ready during one of the busiest travel periods of the year.
Hariphil Asia Resources Inc., the official distributor of Chevrolet in the country, has rolled out a limited-time service campaign called The Gift of Great Service.
The offer runs from 1 December 2025 to 31 January 2026 and targets Chevrolet owners who plan to spend more time on the road over the holidays.
The timing is deliberate. December often means heavier use of cars, from quick city errands to longer out-of-town drives. Families visit relatives, friends squeeze in year-end catch-ups, and long weekends turn into spontaneous road trips.
For vehicles that are already a few years old, this kind of use can quickly expose maintenance issues that were easy to ignore during quieter months.
At the center of the promo is a Change Oil Service Package priced at P1,988. Chevrolet said the package includes engine oil, an oil filter, a drain plug gasket, and labor.
It also comes with a free 64-point check-up, which looks over key areas of the vehicle to spot possible problems before they turn into holiday headaches.
The offer is available to Chevrolet models from 2019 and earlier, focusing on vehicles that are already out of warranty.
This group often faces higher maintenance costs, making budget-friendly service packages more appealing, especially during a season when expenses pile up quickly.
Chevrolet sees the campaign as a way to support safer and more reliable travel during the holidays. With more vehicles on the road, even a minor issue can cause major delays.
A basic oil change paired with a thorough inspection can help reduce the chances of unexpected stops along the way, whether the trip is across town or out of the city.
Maria Fe Perez-Agudo, vice chair, president and chief executive officer of HARI, said the promo is meant to give customers peace of mind during the Christmas season.
She added that it is also a way of thanking owners for staying with the brand by offering practical support when it matters most.
A well-maintained car means fewer worries in traffic, smoother long drives, and one less thing to think about during an already busy time of year. Chevrolet dealerships nationwide are offering the service, giving owners an option to prepare their vehicles before the year ends.
