From 30 November to 6 December 2025, the Quezon City Police District arrested a total of 59 drug suspects, 78 wanted persons, 55 gamblers, and eight individuals for illegal possession of firearms.
QCPD Acting District Director P/Col. Randy Glenn Silvio said the arrests were the result of weeklong anti-illegal drugs and anti-criminality operations across Quezon City.
Silvio said that in the campaign against illegal drugs, 45 operations were conducted, leading to the arrest of 59 drug suspects and the confiscation of P757,764 worth of illegal drugs.
In the campaign against wanted persons, 78 individuals were arrested, including 38 Most Wanted Persons and 40 Other Wanted Persons. Notable arrests include:
• alias “Roniel,” 44, wanted for malicious mischief and less serious physical injuries, and alias “Arturo,” 65, listed as No. 6 MWP for Fairview Police Station (PS 5), wanted for frustrated homicide — both had been hiding for 16 years.
• alias “Romnick,” 31, and alias “Rodel,” 30, both wanted for theft — evading arrest for 11 years.
• alias “Vicente,” 60, listed as No. 10 MWP of Novaliches Police Station (PS 4), wanted for violation of R.A. 9165, and alias “Rutzen,” 35, tagged as No. 5 MWP of Anonas Police Station (PS 9) and No. 10 District Level MWP, wanted for violation of R.A. 10883 — both had been on the run for six years.
The respective courts of origin have been notified of the arrests.
Meanwhile, in the campaign against illegal gambling, 36 operations were conducted, resulting in the arrest of 55 gamblers and the confiscation of P16,276 in bet money.
The QCPD also conducted eight operations against illegal firearms, leading to the confiscation of eight firearms and the arrest of eight individuals.
Charges have been filed against the suspects before the Quezon City Prosecutor’s Office for violations of R.A. 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002), P.D. 1602 (Anti-Illegal Gambling Law), and R.A. 10591 (Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act).
“This week’s accomplishments clearly prove that the QCPD remains steadfast in its fight against criminality, illegal drugs, and other unlawful activities. Our continuous operations reflect our firm commitment to ensuring a safer and more peaceful Quezon City for all,” Silvio said.
