Two men were arrested during a buy-bust operation conducted by personnel of the Quezon City Police District Station 6.
The suspects were identified only by their aliases “Rafa,” 48, and “Gil,” 36, who were arrested in Barangay Commonwealth, Quezon City.
Authorities said both suspects were identified as street-level individuals allegedly engaged in illegal drug activities in the area.
Police said they received reports about the suspects’ alleged drug-selling activities, which reportedly attracted regular customers.
An undercover operative acted as the poseur-buyer and was able to purchase one sachet of illegal drugs from the suspects.
Authorities recovered a total of 26 grams of suspected illegal drugs valued at P185,000, along with the buy-bust money.
