Quezon City Police District (QCPD) Acting District Director P/Col. Randy Glenn Silvio on Tuesday said they are conducting a four-day Enhanced Monitoring of Police Overall Wellness (EMPOW) program for police personnel.
The activity, which runs from 2 to 5 December 2025, has so far had 357 participants undergoing various health and wellness assessments.
The initiative focuses on QCPD personnel aged 40 years old and above who completed their Annual Physical Examination (APE) from 20 to 22 October 2025, particularly those who require further evaluation and medical management due to identified health concerns.
Through EMPOW, QCPD aims to strengthen health awareness among its members, promote early detection of potential health issues, provide proper monitoring and follow-up for those with medical conditions, and encourage participation in wellness activities to build a healthier and stronger police force.
Silvio highlighted the importance of the initiative, saying, “Nawa’y patuloy nating suportahan ang ganitong programa, sapagkat higit sa pagsunod, ito ay isang pagkilala na ang isang pulis na nasa mabuting kalusugan at may tamang kaisipan ay mas epektibo, mas handa, at mas maaasahan sa paglilingkod sa ating mga kababayan.”
