Sara to Filipinos: Revive Bonifacio’s spirit of patriotism

Vice President Sara Duterte on Sunday urged Filipinos to honor the heroism of Andres Bonifacio as the country commemorated his 162nd birth anniversary.

“Today, let us honor the valor and the burning bravery of Andres Bonifacio,” Duterte said in her video message.

“With the whole nation, let's commemorate his heroism, and revive the spirit of patriotism and unity in the heart of every Filipino,” the Vice President added.

Duterte also encouraged the public to draw inspiration from Bonifacio’s sacrifices and to continue fighting for justice, equality and a better future for the country.
