Quezon City Police District (QCPD) Acting District Director Col. Randy Glenn Silvio said Friday that the district has strengthened its operational capability through the acquisition of new logistical equipment.
The acquisition was made possible through the support of the Quezon City local government unit led by Mayor Josefina “Joy” Belmonte.
The newly acquired equipment includes drones, computer sets with printers, cellphones, megaphones, a generator set, raincoats, and various search-and-rescue gear such as go bags, helmets and life vests.
The logistical assets are expected to enhance QCPD’s efficiency in law enforcement operations, emergency response and administrative services.
QCPD also turned over desktop computers, printers, AVR units, keyboards, and mice to Cubao Police Station (PS 7), Anonas Police Station (PS 9), and Kamuning Police Station (PS 10) to bolster operational efficiency and improve service delivery to the public.
Silvio expressed his gratitude for the continued support of the city government, emphasizing the importance of these resources in fulfilling the district’s mandate.
“These logistical assets will significantly boost our operational readiness. We are grateful to Mayor Joy Belmonte and the LGU for their consistent support to QCPD and our shared mission of ensuring a safe and secure Quezon City,” he said.
With the additional resources, the QCPD reaffirmed its commitment to providing efficient, reliable, and community-centered police services to the residents of Quezon City.
