QCPD files raps vs suspects in QC nightclub shooting
The Quezon City Police District (QCPD) on Tuesday said it has filed criminal charges against the suspects in the shooting incident at a night club in Barangay Laging Handa, Quezon City on 16 November 2025.
QCPD Acting District Director P/Col. Randy Glenn Silvio identified the suspects as Jayson Dellosa and his associate, Joseph Santos Juan, also known as “Pepe.”
According to Silvio, at around 3 a.m., Dellosa arrived at the club and waited outside for Juan, the bar’s operations manager. When Juan arrived at around 3:12 a.m., he escorted Dellosa inside, allowing him to bypass the club’s standard security frisking procedure.
At around 4:42 a.m., a commotion broke out between Dellosa’s companion and the 23-year-old male victim inside the club, prompting Dellosa to allegedly fire a single shot to the victim’s head before fleeing the scene.
The victim was initially taken to St. Luke’s Medical Center and later transferred to Quezon City General Hospital, where he is now in stable condition.
Personnel from the Kamuning Police Station 10 and the Criminal Investigation and Detection Unit, along with the SOCO team, immediately launched an investigation, recovering a fired cartridge and a deformed bullet.
CCTV footage, witness accounts, and coordination with San Juan City officials confirmed Dellosa’s identity as a known member of the Original Pinoy Gangster (OPG) under the San Juan Hood, with previous residences in Quezon City and San Juan.
Verification also showed that Dellosa is a registered gun owner, prompting QCPD to request the revocation of his firearms licenses from the PNP Firearms and Explosives Office.
On 19 November 2025, a Frustrated Murder complaint was filed against Dellosa, while Juan was charged as Accessory to Frustrated Murder for bypassing security protocols that enabled Dellosa’s entry.
“Through diligent investigation and persistent follow-up operations, we are ensuring that justice is pursued while respecting due process. The QCPD continues to intensify efforts to locate and apprehend the suspects,” Silvio said.
