The Quezon City government announced the completion of 167 infrastructure projects across the city for 2025, with a total cost of P5.6 billion, according to Atty. Mark Dale P. Peral, head of the city’s Engineering Department.

The newest addition to these projects is the Elevated Landscape Promenade, built to provide easier access between the Quezon Memorial Circle and the Ninoy Aquino Parks and Wildlife Center. The project was completed in coordination with the Parks Development and Administration Department, the City Architect’s Office, and the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR).

For development and reorganization initiatives, Peral highlighted the New Kamuning Public Market, the rehabilitation of Bahay Modernismo inside the Quezon Memorial Circle, and new facilities at Rosario Maclang Bautista General Hospital, along with a swimming pool at the Amoranto Sports Complex.

At the barangay level, the city constructed the Barangay Santa Cruz evacuation center, mortuary buildings in Barangay Bagong Pag-asa and Barangay Nagkaisang Nayon, and a community center in Barangay Pasong Putik.

For schools, Peral cited projects such as the rehabilitation of Payatas Elementary School, a new building at Commonwealth High School, a covered court at Doña Juana Elementary School, a gym for Quezon City Science High School, and a new building for the city’s Schools Division Office.

Peral also highlighted the Quezon City Revive Project, which includes beautification and improved street lighting along Tomas Morato Avenue, such as the removal of obstructions and enhancement of sidewalks.

Litex Market is likewise included in the initiative, with improvements such as the installation of steel railings along sidewalks, construction of a directional island, and opening up certain areas to improve lighting and enhance overall safety.
