The beautifully adorned carosa of Our Lady of Mount Carmel is ready to lead the annual feast day procession at the Our Lady of the Abandoned Parish in Marikina City, marking one of the Church’s cherished Marian celebrations on 16 July.
Accompanying the Blessed Virgin are Saint Joseph, St. Teresa of Avila, St. John of the Cross, and St. Thérèse of the Child Jesus, saints closely associated with Carmelite spirituality and devotion.
Celebrated every 16 July, the Feast of Our Lady of Mount Carmel honors the Blessed Virgin Mary as the patroness of the Carmelite Order.
