QC to launch online infrastructure dashboard in 2026

At a time when corruption is being linked to infrastructure-related projects, the Quezon City government will open QC Open Infra in 2026, a platform that aims to provide details on all infrastructure initiatives of the local government unit from 2019 onward.

The project was announced by the head of the city’s Department of Engineering, Atty. Mark Dale P. Peral, during the city’s flag-raising ceremony on Monday morning. He emphasized that the initiative is meant to ensure transparency.

“Here you will find project information, location, and geotagged photos, and it is integrated with a geographic information system or GIS to show the exact location of each project,” Peral said.

Peral added that the effort aims to strengthen relationships with the public through more open, clearer, and more accessible information.

He also expressed his gratitude to the engineers, technical personnel, skilled workers, and all employees of the Department of Engineering.
