Quezon City is making passage between the Quezon Memorial Circle and the Ninoy Aquino Parks and Wildlife Center easier with the construction of the Elevated Landscape Promenade along Elliptical Road.

According to the Quezon City LGU, the promenade is not only pedestrian-friendly but also bike-friendly, as it will feature bike ramps as well as seats and benches for pedestrians.

The structure is designed by the Quezon City Government’s City Architect Department and is being constructed by the LGU’s Engineering Department.

Aside from improving mobility, the city emphasized that the project is a collaboration with the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR), ensuring that it follows environmentally conscious and sustainable design principles.

Quezon City stated that the promenade supports its initiative to create more open and green spaces across the city.

The project was conceptualized between July and November 2023, while construction began in April 2024.
