LIVE UPDATES: Eala eyes 2nd WTA title in Hong Kong
Alex Eala seeks to end her season on a high note as she takes on world no. 102 Claire Liu in the Hong Kong Tennis Open finals Sunday afternoon.
The Filipina aims to clinch her second WTA title after getting her first in the Washington Open last August.
But the road will not be easy as Liu has the upper hand in their head-to-head record as she edged Eala in the Guangzhou Open round of 32 in October 2025 after a 2-6, 6-4, 6-4 victory.
