Malacañang Palace has suspended work in government offices on Monday and classes in public institutions from 10 to 11 November 2025 due to Super Typhoon Uwan.

According to Memorandum Circular No. 106 signed by Executive Secretary Lucas Bersamin, the following areas are covered by the work suspension on Monday: National Capital Region, Cordillera Administrative Region, and Regions I, II, III, IV-A, IV-B, V and VIII.

“Classes at all levels in the aforementioned Regions, Region Vl, Region VII, and the Negros Island Region are also suspended on 10 and 11 November 2025,” the circular stated.

Government agencies who are tasked to provide basic, vital and health services, preparedness and response duties are directed to remain operational.

Other government agencies are authorized to implement alternate work arrangements “as may be necessary, subject to applicable laws, rules and regulations”.

Meanwhile, cancellation or suspension of classes and/or work in government offices in other regions not indicated in the circular are left to the discretion of their respective local chief executives “pursuant to relevant laws, rules and regulations.”

For work in private companies and offices, the decision to suspend or cancel work is up to the respective heads of offices.
