Around 6,000 runners are expected to join one of Metro Manila’s most iconic lifestyle runs as Run BGC 2025 makes its much-awaited return on 14 December at the Bonifacio Global City in Taguig City.
It’s a much-awaited comeback as the race, organized by RUNRIO, unites a community built on wellness, movement, and purpose through four categories: 16K, 10K, 5K and 1K Dog races.
“This comeback isn’t just about running forward. It’s also about looking back,” said Andrew Neri, managing partner of RUNRIO Inc.
“Run BGC helped define the running industry, and now it’s time to celebrate how far the community has come.”
More than a race, Run BGC 2025 is a celebration of connection, resilience and renewal, championing a cause as it pledged a P1.5-million donation to the Bayani Scholarship Program, supporting the education of deserving youth from nearby communities.
“We are thrilled to see Run BGC make its return,” Enrique Luis Manuel Jr., president of Fort Bonifacio Development Foundation Inc., said.
“Every step our runners take contributes to the dreams of our Bayani scholars.”
Registration is set to open this week.
