DAVAO CITY — Around 4,000 runners are expected to join the 2026 Puma Davao Half Marathon starting at the Azuela Cove in Lanang on 19 July.
RunRio event manager Carlos Dean said the event will feature 5K, 10K and 21 K race routes traversing the city’s renowned streets.
“This will be one of the six leg series of the marathon,” Dean said.
The Davao Leg is the second leg with its first held in Iloilo. Other legs will also be held in Cagayan de Oro, Cebu City, Clark Pampanga and Manila.
“A special Legacy medal will be given to the runners who will complete the six legs nationwide.”
Local entries will come from the city’s noted running clubs such as the Coastal Road Runners, Podium Runners and Snail Pacers Running Club.
