The Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) reported that 6,398 passengers, including truck drivers and cargo helpers, along with 1,839 rolling cargoes, 17 vessels, and one motorbanca, were stranded in 48 ports nationwide due to Typhoon Ramil (#RamilPH). Meanwhile, 74 vessels and 48 motorbancas were taking shelter as the storm battered parts of the country.
In the Bicol Region, around 4,990 individuals were stranded when the typhoon struck on the morning of October 19, 2025. According to the PCG, affected ports included Tabaco, Pioduran, Pasacao, Virac, Cataingan, Aroroy, Mobo, San Pascual, Claveria, Castilla, Matnog, Pilar, Bacacay, San Andres, San Jacinto, Bulan, and Mintac. In addition to those stranded, 1,506 rolling cargoes and one motorbanca were affected, while 23 vessels and four motorbancas took shelter.
In the Southern Tagalog Region, approximately 1,100 individuals were stranded along with 244 rolling cargoes and 17 vessels. A total of 49 vessels and 27 motorbancas were reported to be taking shelter in ports such as Real, Lucena, Atimonan, Alabat, Mauban, San Andres, Corcuera, Romblon, Poctoy, San Agustin, Looc, Abra de Ilog, Maril, Calapan, Roxas, Batangas, Tingloy, Wawa, Balanacan, Sabang, Poblacion, Bulalacao, Pola, and Anilao.
In the Eastern Visayas Region, 303 individuals, including drivers and helpers, were stranded along with 89 rolling cargoes at the Sta. Clara, Dapdap, and Looc Ports.
In Northeastern Luzon, five individuals were reported stranded at San Vicente Port, Linao Wharf, Toran Wharf, and Veteran Wharf, while two vessels and 17 motorbancas took shelter from the storm.
