Shell keeps industries moving

Downtime hurts. When a truck sits in the yard or a line on the factory floor stops, costs pile up fast. Many fleet operators and plant teams still wrestle with delayed parts, sudden breakdowns, and oil that gives up earlier than planned. Expenses rise as operations grow. The pressure to keep equipment ready and safe grows with it.

Shell recognizes these challenges and responds through proven lubricants and technical solutions. For 18 years in a row, Shell has been the world’s No. 1 global lubricants supplier, trusted across industries for its world-class lubricants supply chain, strong network of distributors, and expert technical services that help deliver cutting-edge products.

Beyond its premium products, Shell is a technical services partner, providing predictive, data-driven solutions and sustainable maintenance to help prolong equipment life and minimize the need for reactive maintenance. Its two flagship services are Shell LubeAnalyst and Shell LubeOptimiser.

The Shell LubeAnalyst service provides early warnings of potential issues such as wear, contamination, or oil degradation — allowing operators to take corrective action before costly failures occur.

Similar to getting one’s bloodwork analyzed, Shell LubeAnalyst works by providing a detailed health check for your equipment by examining lubricant samples. Just as blood tests reveal early signs of illness, Shell LubeAnalyst detects wear, contamination, and oil degradation, helping prevent costly breakdowns before they happen.

Using Shell’s test kits, users collect lubricant samples and register them digitally via the LubeAnalyst portal, which customers can access. These samples are then analyzed in Shell’s laboratories, with results delivered in detailed reports that include expert recommendations. This data-driven approach supports smarter maintenance planning, reduces downtime, and extends equipment life.

Shell LubeOptimiser takes this service up a notch. A dedicated on-site service done by Shell’s technical service experts, Shell LubeOptimiser is a full-service lubrication management solution that helps industrial businesses streamline operations and protect critical assets.

By combining Shell’s technical expertise with a network of trusted service providers, LubeOptimiser delivers tailored field services — from oil filtration and varnish removal to emergency response and predictive maintenance.

This end-to-end approach reduces downtime, improves equipment reliability, and frees up internal resources, allowing teams to focus on core operations while Shell handles the complexities of lubrication.

Shell LubeAnalyst and Shell LubeOptimiser are solutions designed to extend equipment life, reduce operational disruptions, and lower the total cost of ownership. Backed by global expertise and local insight, these services deliver the measurable efficiency and savings that industries need today.

Shell remains committed to driving industry transformation in the Philippines by combining world-class lubricants with technical expertise that delivers measurable results.
