The Angeles City Police Office (ACPO) has arrested a most wanted person and a drug suspect in Angeles City, Pampanga on 16 October 2025.
According to City Director Police Col. Joselito E. Villarosa Jr., operatives of Police Station 4 (lead unit) and the ACPO-CIDMU Tracker Team, in coordination with CIT Angeles RIU 3, PRO3 RID Cyber Patrol Team, and the 302nd Maneuver Company RMFB 3, successfully served a Warrant of Arrest against a 25-year-old male resident of Barangay Pampang, Angeles City for the crime of Statutory Rape.
The warrant carried no recommended bail, underscoring the gravity of the offense. The arrested person was immediately brought to the operating unit for documentation and proper disposition.
Later that evening, at around 8:50 PM, operatives of Police Station 5, the Angeles City Police Drug Enforcement Unit (ACPDEU), and the City Intelligence Unit (CIU) conducted a buy-bust operation against illegal drugs along Tagumpay Street, Barangay Cutcut, Angeles City.
The operation resulted in the arrest of a 30-year-old male suspect from Barangay Sto. Domingo, Angeles City.
Confiscated from the suspect were two pieces of heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing suspected shabu weighing approximately two grams, with an estimated street value of P13,600.00, along with one P1,000 genuine bill used as buy-bust money.
Both successful operations reflect the relentless efforts of the Angeles City Police Office in maintaining peace and order and in upholding the rule of law within the city.
Villarosa commended the operatives involved for their dedication and commitment to public safety. He further reiterated ACPO’s unwavering stance against all forms of criminality and its continuous pursuit of justice for the victims of crime.
