Over 1,500 quake victims from Cebu received mental health and psychological support (MHPSS) from the Department of Health (DOH).
A total of 1,522 individuals have so far received MHPSS, such as counseling and stress debriefing, from the Health department in a bid to help victims cope with anxiety and panic attacks.
The DOH said it also plans to provide psychological first aid to quake victims in Davao Oriental.
The 6.9-magnitude tremblor that hit Bogo City, Cebu on 30 September has killed 74 persons and hurt 559, the National Disaster Risk Reduction Management Council (NDRRMC) reported on 11 October.
Meanwhile, the death toll from the magnitude earthquake that jolted Manay, Davao Oriental on 10 October has hit eight as of Saturday night.
Last week, the DOH sent medical teams to Cebu and Davao Oriental following the deadly tremors.
