ROUTINE oil checks are part of Kia’s preventive maintenance service, keeping engines in top condition.
As the holidays inch closer and more Filipinos prepare for long road trips, Kia Philippines is making sure their cars are road-ready and easy to maintain. Through its Preventive Maintenance Service (PMS) program, the brand promises practical ownership costs, dependable service, and fewer worries on the road.
“Our PMS program is structured to deliver lower maintenance costs while ensuring the highest standards of performance and safety,” Jay Lopez, managing director of Kia Philippines, said. “Through advanced diagnostics, we save customers time, reduce costs, and provide lasting peace of mind.”
Under the program, Kia vehicles are serviced every 10,000 kilometers or six months, whichever comes first. This setup makes it easier for drivers to plan ahead, especially for those who want their cars checked before heading out for a family vacation.
Kia’s maintenance routine includes full inspections, genuine parts replacement, and software updates when needed. The brand’s service plan is designed for predictability and value, with maintenance costs spread out over five years or 100,000 kilometers.
Owners can expect an average five-year maintenance cost of P85,076 for the Sonet, P107,186 for the Sorento Turbo Hybrid, P109,175 for the Carnival Diesel, and P117,211 for the Carnival Hybrid. With these rates, Kia drivers can save up to P76,000.
Kia’s service network now covers 35 centers nationwide, giving customers easy access to trained technicians wherever they go. These professionals undergo continuous training under the Kia Technician’s Boot Camp (KTBC), which equips them with up-to-date skills and diagnostic know-how. Each service center also stocks genuine Kia parts, backed by a logistics system that ensures quick delivery of international components.
For those planning to drive out of town this holiday season, Kia suggests booking their PMS appointments early. The company’s nationwide coverage and transparent pricing make it easier for car owners to focus on the journey instead of worrying about maintenance issues.
“With Kia’s PMS program, Filipino drivers can save more, spend less time in service centers, and enjoy safer journeys,” Lopez said. “This means more quality time for the moments that truly matter.”
