Two residents of Muntinlupa City are being celebrated for their achievements on both a national and international stage.
Patricia Isabel Soriano, a resident of Barangay Cupang, ranked first among 799 examinees in the May 2025 Chemical Engineers Computer-Based Licensure Examination, with a rating of 88.60.
A magna cum laude graduate of De La Salle University-Manila, Soriano has also published papers on fuel treatment and energy storage at international conferences.
Muntinlupa Mayor Ruffy Biazon announced Tuesday that the local government will award Soriano with a P100,000 cash incentive, a medal and a certificate of recognition.
Meanwhile, athlete Kaila Napolis of Barangay Poblacion won a silver medal at the 12th edition of The World Games in Chengdun, China, on 10 August.
Napolis, who previously won gold at the 2023 World Combat Games and the 32nd Southeast Asian Games, is set to compete for another medal Tuesday in the open division.
