High-value individuals nabbed in Mabalacat City buy-bust

Mabalacat City, Pampanga – Two 20-year-old High-Value Individuals (HVIs) were arrested during a buy-bust operation held at Barangay Sapang Biabas in this city on the evening of 3 August 2025.
According to Pampanga Police Provincial Office (PPPO) chief Police Col. Eugene M. Marcelo, the Mabalacat City Police Station (CPS) Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) apprehended alias “Chika,” a 20-year-old unemployed male, and alias “Niks,” a 20-year-old unemployed female.
The two suspects are both residents of Brgy. Sapang Biabas.
During the operation, approximately 5.5 kilograms of dried marijuana leaves with an estimated standard drug price of P660,000.00, and 470 grams of suspected Kush valued at P775,500.00 were seized—resulting in the total estimated value of confiscated illegal drugs amounting to P1,435,500.00.
The suspects and confiscated items were brought to the Mabalacat CPS for proper documentation and disposition. Appropriate charges for violation of Republic Act No. 9165, also known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, are being prepared against the arrested individuals.
