Team Liquid PH tramples ONIC to reach MSC 2025 Grand Final

Reigning MPL PH champion Team Liquid PH punched its ticket to the Mid Season Cup 2025 grand final after a commanding 3-1 victory over Indonesian powerhouse ONIC this Friday at the Amazon Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Spearheaded by M-Series World Championship MVPs KarlTzy and Oheb, Team Liquid PH executed with calculated aggression, backed by strong performances from Sanji, Sanford, and Jaypee in the best-of-five series.

After taking the first two games, ONIC, led by Filipino jungler Kairi, managed to stay alive with a Game 3 win behind a surprise Estes pick. But in Game 4, Team Liquid PH countered with a sustain-heavy draft with Fredrinn, Gatotkaca, Cici, Zhuxin, and Claude.

Sanji’s Zhuxin and Oheb’s Claude provided the firepower, while the rest of the squad soaked up damage and dished out crowd control. The Philippine side gained an early lead and never looked back, finishing Game 4 in just 14 minutes to seal the series.

Team Liquid PH will meet the defending champion SRG OG in the grand final, where the winner takes home $1,000,000 of the staggering $3,000,000 prize pool. Meanwhile, the battle for third will be fought between ONIC PH and ONIC Indonesia.
