Porac, Pampanga - Around P3.4-million worth of drugs were seized while two High Value Individuals (HVIs) were arrested during a buy-bust operation in Brgy. Hacienda Dolores of this town on 29 July 2025.
According to Porac Municipal Police Station chief Police Lt. Col. Romeo Castro, teams from their SDEU, the PDEU, and the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Region 3 conducted the operation on Tuesday afternoon.
He added that around 500 grams of suspected shabu were confiscated, with a standard drug price of P3,400,000.
The suspects who were arrested were identified as alias “Dacula, a 47-year-old man, and Acmad, a 23-year-old man, both residents of Brgy. Anupul, Bamban, Tarlac.
The buy-bust operation also led to the confiscation of marked money consisting of nine pieces of P500 bills and 91 pieces of P500 boodle money.
The arrested suspects are categorized as High-Value Individuals (HVIs) and are currently in the custody of Porac MPS.
Charges for violation of Sections 5 and 11, Article II of Republic Act 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002) are being prepared for filing.
