The Philippine National Police (PNP) has implemented a new round of personnel movements affecting three police generals and 11 police colonels, according to an order dated 18 July and made public Sunday.
PNP chief Gen. Nicolas Torre III designated Brig. Gen. Erickson Dilaga as the new regional director of the Police Regional Office-Cordillera Administrative Region (PRO-CAR).
Brig. Gen. Ronald Gayo has been appointed chief of the Firearms and Explosives Office (FEO), while Brig. Gen. Rogelio Raymundo Jr. has been named deputy regional director for administration of Police Regional Office 3 (Central Luzon).
The designations will take effect today, 21 July. In a separate order, 11 police colonels were given new assignments effective 17 July.
Col. Arvin Alcantara, previously assigned to the Directorate for Logistics, was transferred to the Directorate for Plans (DPL).
Col. Richard Bad-Ang moved from the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) to Police Regional Office 4A (Calabarzon), while Col. Harold Depositar was reassigned from the DPL to the Philippine National Police Academy (PNPA).
Col. Jay Dimaandal, formerly with PRO-3, was transferred to the newly formed PRO-Negros Island Region, and Col. Wilson Doromal moved from the DPL to the Office of the Chief PNP (OCPNP).
Col. Frederick Obar was assigned to the DPL, though his previous posting was not specified. Col. Ariel Red, previously with CIDG, was transferred to PRO-4A.
Meanwhile, Col. Nelvin Richohermoso, from PRO-5 (Bicol), was reassigned to PRO-10 (Northern Mindanao) and Col. Julius Suriben moved from PRO-4A to the Directorate for Logistics.
Col. Alikhan Yusop, who had been serving with PRO-9 (Zamboanga Peninsula), was reassigned to the Directorate for Police Community Relations (DPCR), while Col. Michael Rae Tuscano was transferred from the National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) to PRO-7 (Central Visayas).
The PNP said the reshuffle is part of its ongoing efforts to enhance organizational efficiency and provide growth opportunities for its senior officers.
