Fyang Smith’s relatable character

Former Pinoy Big Brother Gen 11 grand winner Fyang Smith admits she was able to relate to her character in iWantTFC original digital series, Ghosting.

Smith plays a young girl who left her grandmother’s provincial abode after her ex-boyfriend ghosted her. In her search for her ex, she met the character of JM Ibarra, who is a wandering soul.

“Sa personality, yes, naka-relate po ako kasi si Jaja, she’s very jolly, very makulit, mapagmahal,” Smith said during the special screening of the series on Friday, 18 July.

Smith particularly mentioned that the hardest part during the taping of the series was the scene in the river.

“Sobrang lamig po kasi ng tubig. Umulan po kasi noon and we shot it at about 11 p.m. na. Super lamig talaga (The water is so cold. It was raining then and we shot it at about 11 p.m. It was very cold),” she recalled.

Ghosting is an eight-episode romantic series set on a supernatural background.

It also stars Pinoy Big Brother Connect ex-housemate Kobe Brown, Pinoy Big Brother Lucky Season 7 ex-housemate Vivoree, He’s Into Her star Gello Marquez. It is directed by Ted Boborol and will stream exclusively on iWant.

Kira Balinger admitted that her rift with Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Collab Edition grand winner Brent Manalo is water under the bridge.

Recall that Balinger and Manalo had a heated argument during the House Challengers segment of the latest PBB edition.

“Kami ni Brent, super okay na kami. Love ko si Brent, and I know that what he said was just in the heat of the moment. I did not take that personally at all,” Balinger said during the Star Magic Spotlight mediacon for Pinoy Big Brother housemates.

“Actually, I appreciated him more because when we met again, he was the first one to come and hug me. I knew in that moment na pinag-isipan niya ‘yung sinabi niya, na baka nga nakasakit sa akin (that he thought about what he said to me, that it might have hurt me).”
