Blackpink has once again taken the top spot, as the Korean girl group leads Spotify's Global Weekly Chart with their new song, JUMP.
YG Entertainment announced on Sunday that the group's latest track reached No. 1 on the Top Songs Chart in the July 17 update. Garnering 44,759,923 streams just one week after its release on July 11, JUMP now holds the record for the highest number of streams for any song released this year on Spotify.
This marks the K-pop group's second time topping the chart, following their 2022 hit Shut Down. They are the only K-pop group to have reached the top of the chart twice.
The song’s success echoes the empowering lyrics of JUMP, which celebrate sisterhood and bravery.
“So come up with me, I'll take you high. That prima donna, spice up your life,” the lyric goes.
